Seraph Update

They took out her breathing tube this morning!  She woke up and gave me an earful.  She sobbed as she told me about her whole week in her tiny voice.  When she was done, the tears stopped and she just looked around.  She liked sitting up (with support).  She seems stronger and more alert than last time.  They'll start weaning her oxygen tomorrow.  She won't be home in time for Christmas...but she will be home soon.  She's looking good :)

Hooray, an improvement! A ray of hope! We were sure hoping we could drop by and bring you a gift, but I think we should stay away for a bit--I've been coughing all night every night for a week. I'm sure Seraph doesn't want to be exposed to THAT! Congratulations, hope she keeps getting better and better!

I could just picture her telling you all about it. They can be so descriptive with their cries. So glad your little sweetheart is a fighter and starting to improve. Love you and hope you have a Merry Christmas with BR & SB & F & A.
