They put her on antibiotics for an infection. They said the soonest she could come home is in two weeks. She's already been there for two weeks...so we're pretty bummed about it. They said it'll probably be 4-5 days before they take out her breathing tube.
We're grateful that we haven't caught any of the colds that are going around - cuz then we wouldn't be able to visit her.
Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Your life seemed so busy before all of this. How are you juggling trips to the hospital on top of everything?
I think of you often. A speaker at church taught that "Gratitude is the Key to Happiness". I really like that idea.

I'm just not visiting the hospital very often. I feel guilty for not going more, but I feel guilty when I leave my kids at home to go see her, too. It doesn't help that I find the hospital very depressing this time around.
I'm trying for a good balance - hopefully it's working. Haqon protects me--makes me not spread myself too thin.
And, there are things to be grateful for.....like being healthy so we can go see her, living close to the nice hospital, doctors who've dealt with this sort of chd before....and really nice friends who love and support us :)
thanks.
