Use your Words

Seraph said a few new words today: "wow" (to copy a toy), "die" (much to the delight of her big brother).
She also made a recognizable attempt to sing the ABC's song.

She's right on the verge of talking...and I'm sooooo excited.  In a few months I won't be able to remember when she couldn't talk.  But, for now, I am trying hard to remember how long it took my kids to start talking once they reached this "almost" stage.

Walking to School today...

Mom: Ok, Bear, give me a big hug! Have fun at school today

[big hug]

Mom: Hey, what's that on your coat?  Why is your shirt wet?

Bear: I threw up.

Mom:....you threw up?

Bear: ya

Mom: When did you throw up?

Bear: Just now when we were walking to school.

Mom: Let's go home, bear.

Mom: Next time tell me before I put my nose up close to smell it, ok?

Bear: Ok, Mom.

Mom: No, I told you that you could only have one.
Finch: But I want one!
Mom: No, you already had one!
Finch: but I want one that's a different one because this one is gone!
Mom:...
Finch: Say "yes", Mom.
