My 4-yr-old...

I think I was seven or eight when my father came home with his first personal computer.  He brought us into his home office, showed us the computer, showed us the mouse, and told us we were not to touch it.  Ever.  Later he let us play a game on the computer--nibbles.  (the one where you are a snake and each time you eat a number you get bigger and you can't crash into your tail or you lose.  I STILL love that game!)

Strong Bear: Mom, we need to have more than one computer.

Mom: Oh?

Strong Bear: Mom, can we get me a computer....and Beautiful Rabbit a computer, too?  Then we can play [an online game] together!

Mom: Well, I think you should go tell your dad.

Strong Bear: OK.  I told Dad.  Now, can we go get my computer?

Mom: Not right this second, honey.

Strong Bear: Right.  We better find a place to put my computer and  a place to put Beautiful Rabbit's computer first.
Strong Bear: I know! We can put our computers together--like next to each other.  Then I can play and she can play and we can be by each other!

Mom: That sounds like it would be fun, sweetie.

Strong Bear: Mom, we need to go get my computer right now!!

Mom: ....talk to your dad, hun.

Hospital - Day 8

My puter had a blue screen of death yesterday! Right in the middle of a fun webcam session with my family! I think it's happy again now, but please cross your fingers for me.

My family came to visit me today. Just seeing them walk down the hallway towards me made my whole day. They were super cute from the first 'See, there's Mommy' to the last wave g'bye. I even changed Delightful Finch's Diaper. (yes, she was delightful - smiling and giggling while I pretended to eat her toes. No, it wasn't poopy.)

The twins did really well, again, on their NSTs. They have a favorite nurse. When she does my NST they stay on the monitors the whole time....or if they go off, she just has to say "come back, baby" and they do! Usually they prefer to play hide-and-seek part of the time....esp BabyA.

Sexy Haqon: Home is really different without you.
Beautiful Rabbit: Yeah! It's super clean!!

Eggs, Showers, Fans

We decorated Easter eggs today while Delightful Finch was napping. Beautiful Rabbit is very creative with colors and stickers. Strong Bear likes green and orange.

When Delightful Finch woke up, she was hungry! Mommy was busy playing with her new cpu fan, so Finch reached up as high as she could and pulled the newspaper off the table. She was rewarded with a shower of colorful eggs to eat! It must've been a dream come true! ...until Mom and Rabbit rescued the eggs before Finch could finish chewing through the shells. Poor lil girl!

With my cpu fan properly installed(and the kids well fed), I discovered I didn't fry my chip or my motherboard - yay :) I'm still having the computer problem I had before my fan died. When I right-click on my hdd or my cd drive, instead of a context menu, my puter just thinks and thinks and thinks. All I get is the hour glass.

UPDATE: My computer is fixed! I had to uninstall a program that I haven't used in 4 years. I have no idea why its shell extension started causing me trouble this month. Iomega hotburn. craziness!!
